Kushiro Birds of Prey

During the winter season, food is usually offered to the red-crowned cranes at various sanctuaries at Kushiro, Hokkaido, Japan. Often, birds of prey would join in the fray for the food and I wanted to convey their majestic air, steely focus and grace.
